Guests will enjoy 3 hand-crafted cocktails and hear about the secret history of Mobile during this Prohibition-themed walking tour. Hear stories about speakeasies, rum runners, and moonshiners who kept the drinks flowing and the party going. During Prohibition Mobile wild place full of speakeasies and gin joints. But, when Federal agents brought the party to a grinding halt, many prominent Mobilians were jailed. Prohibition was an epic battle that turned neighbors against each other—forever changing the social fabric of our city. 

Our Bars Include:

  1. Royal Street Tavern. Our cockail is the Bees Knees.
  2. The Haberdasher. Our drink is the El Presidente.  
  3. Los Floraditas, yes, we know the password, and our drink is the Sidecar. 

Please note our Dress Code: Las Floriditas has a “dress to impress” code that we ask our guests to follow. Dresses and skirts are suggested for the ladies, and dress pants or shorts and a collared shirt for the men. Thank you!

  • The tour begins in the lobby of the Battle House Hotel at the corner of Royal and St. Francis Streets.
