BLUE & GRAY TOUR

1.5 hours Walking Tour All Ages Historically Accurate

The Darkest Days of Mobile

After four bloody years of fighting, Mobile was the last major city on the Gulf Coast remaining under Confederate control during the American Civil War. The forts guarding Mobile Bay were captured after the famous Battle of Mobile Bay. Seven months later, Union forces began the land campaign for the city which led to its fall. Noted Civil War author Paul Brueske will take guests to important downtown locations and describe crucial events of the war. His unique perspective makes this a great tour for everyone.
